The best way to start a cleanse is to first, educate yourself on cleansing and the types of cleanses there are. Some might be a good fit for you; some might not.

I would also recommend supervision. Make sure that someone is guiding you through this process that has experience with it.

I recommend starting with a six to eight day cleanse. Some cleanses are a little too short, in my opinion. I don’t think the body has gone through the process long enough to actually start the cleansing and detoxification process. I would recommend about six to eight days. I like to do 10 days myself. I cleanse usually two times a year. I have been cleansing for many years. In order to really see a true benefit, I would do a six to eight day cleanse. That is your best way to start.
