RC: Hello everyone, this is Liz Harvey coming to you from our razorcast™ studios in New York City where we are dedicated to bringing you top quality advice from many of the leading expert professionals across the United States.

In today’s episode we are speaking with Dr. Chris Serafini. Dr. Serafini is the founder of Valley Spinal Care Kierland in Scottsdale, Arizona. A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Chris Serafini is a graduate of Life University in Georgia, though you may best know him from his Channel 3 health news series, “12 Days to Fitness.” Dr. Serafini has also served as the Official Chiropractor of the Gateway Pro Golf Tour.

Dr. Serafini is widely considered to be one of the top chiropractors in the country and he is also a contributing member of our national network of industry professionals.

Today we are going to talk about a very important topic: Dr. Brimhall’s 6 Steps to Wellness

RC: Hi Dr. Serafini how are you today?

Dr. Chris Serafini: Hello Liz I’m doing great.

RC: Well thanks so much for being here. So let’s jump in.

Question 1: You are certified in Dr. Brimhall’s 6 Steps to Wellness System. What are the 6 Steps?

RC: You are certified in Dr. Brimhall’s 6 Steps to Wellness System. What are the 6 Steps?

Dr. Chris Serafini: That’s a great question. Most people are unfamiliar with Dr. Brimhall’s 6 Step protocol so we’ll go over them. Number one is establish structural integrity which we reference as the foundation of health. Number two, balance electromagnetics. Number three, balance nutrition. A lot of things underneath that but we’ll get in to that a little bit later. Reprogram the body for allergies and sensitivities. Number five, evaluate emotional patterns and remove limiting belief systems. And lastly is remove heavy metals and other toxins from the body.

Question 2: How are these 6 Steps incorporated in your practice?

RC: And how are these 6 Steps incorporated in your practice?

Dr. Chris Serafini: Well when we talk about structure, that’s the foundation of what chiropractic is. We work on bones, joints, realigning those bones and joints. When we talk about emotions, a lot of people have emotional issues where they try to basically cope with emotions and we all have those they’re all part of being a human being and that’s normal but a lot of times emotional patters will get stuck in the body and create different problems as well so we have techniques which we help with that. Toxins, we have people that we put on detox programs and cleanses so we try to put them on heavy metal detoxes/cleanses to try and clean the body of different toxins which most people are exposed to many different toxins in their environment on a day to day basis. Nutrition, we have lots of different supplementations that we use in our office. We have it all over our walls. We use lots and lots of nutrition with our patients on a day to day basis as well. The electromagnetic, we have bipolar magnets that we use with patients, we have different cell phone devices that we put on cell phones in order to decrease the amount of radiation that they’re exposed to. And allergies and sensitivities, we work a lot on trying to desensitize patients to these sensitives that they have in order for their bodies to kind of cope with whatever those sensitives might be.

Question 3: What do you think is the most important step to pay attention to?

RC: What do you think is the most important step to pay attention to?

Dr. Chris Serafini: That’s another good question, they’re all equally important really when you’re dealing with sick patients and Dr. Brimhall’s done that for forty years that’s why he’s come up with all six. They are all vitally important. If I had to choose I would probably say structure in nutrition. The structure of the body, people think of chiropractors they just kind of think of maybe neck pain and back pain but really we have ability to adjust all the joints and most people should look at a chiropractor kind of like a mechanic for the body. And then nutritionally, most patients aren’t getting the amount of nutrition that they should through their day to day diets. So we want to supplement those to try and heal them on the inside, from the inside out.

Dr. Chris Serafini: Once again another great question. Electromagnetic pollution I would say cell phones, computers, microwaves, TVs, Wi-Fi, hair dryers. I mean the list goes on and on. And then when you talk about the other toxic pollutions like in our environment which we would reference as environmental pollutions you’ve got the water, air, the food that we’re eating, what we’re drinking, the chemicals that we’re exposed to on a day to day basis as far as even some of your you know hygiene products, things that you’re cleaning your homes with, washing your clothes with. We’re exposed to over eighty thousand chemicals a week and most people don’t realize that but if your body’s unable to detoxify itself at the rate that you’re basically getting infiltrated you could say with toxins then the threshold of the body starts to surpass and the toxins start to build up in the body and the body starts to break down. So it’s really important that you work on that aspect.

RC: So can you attribute a success story to the implementation of Dr. Brimhall’s 6 Steps in your practice?

Dr. Chris Serafini: There’s so many I mean I’ve seen thousands of patients over the years with many many success stories. One of Dr. Brimhall’s taglines is “Witness miracles every day” and we truly do. I mean you know if you go to my website you can look at all the different testimonies, you can google me, look at reviews. You’ll see that there’s many many miracles that we’ve seen over the years and we’ve changed patients’ lives. They thought they had to get surgery and they didn’t have to… many different aspects of how we help patients but once again we do really see miracles every day and they let us know. They give us reviews and they write testimonials for us.
